The Zone Seat System

Zone Self Zoning Pressure Relief Support Seating is the first, truly self zoning/positioning cushion. The three positioning valve can be adjusted manually into three support-zones to conform with the body, in turn, reducing peak pressure points and positioning the patient optimally across the entire seating surface without the use of an electric pump, motor or sensor.

Designed to eliminate bottoming out, the valve technology revolves around a basic law of physics (Boyle’s Law), which maximizes displacement without regard to changes in temperature or elevation. Since the ZONE seat requires no adjustments it is error free and easy to use.

A layer of Kodel fleece is placed between the air cells and the top cover.
This configuration wicks moisture away from the body while providing a very comfortable surface. The ZONE cover transfers vapor away from the body while being resistant to incontinence. Both layers are easily removable for laundering.

The ZONE seat cushion’s unique design makes it very durable and lightweight The polyurethane cells keep the weight to approximately 3 Ibs. This makes it very convenient for transport and use.
